Promotion Overview
Metro Communications Asset Entity, LLC, a subsidiary of MCC Network Services, LLC d/b/a Conxxus ("Conxxus," "we," or "us") offers the Refer a Friend Promotion ("Promotion") for Conxxus residential fiber internet service ("Services"). Eligible referrers and referred new customers may each receive a $250 Visa e-gift card for a qualifying referral, subject to these terms.
These Promotion Terms apply to the person making a referral ("Referrer") and the person referred ("Referred Friend"). Together, they are "Participants" or "you." Referral Rock is the platform used to administer the Promotion; Conxxus is responsible for the offer and rewards.
By registering for or submitting a referral through the Promotion, you agree to these Promotion Terms. Referred Friends agree when they submit a service order through the Referrer’s unique referral link. If you do not agree, do not participate. Participation is prohibited where contrary to applicable law.
Conxxus may modify, suspend, or end the Promotion at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law. Changes will be posted on this page and apply prospectively. Rewards already earned under the applicable terms will remain payable, subject to verification and the fraud and misconduct provisions below.
Registration and Referral Platform
To participate, follow the Refer a Friend link on the Conxxus website and the on-screen instructions to register and obtain your unique referral link. Share that link with friends, family members, or colleagues who may be interested in Services. The Referrer is responsible for sharing the referral link in accordance with these Promotion Terms and applicable law.
Referrers must register through the Promotion page before submitting referrals. Employees, customers, and community members may participate, subject to the eligibility and reward requirements below. All Referrers, including employees and community members, must have installed Conxxus fiber internet service and satisfy the account-standing and payment requirements in the Offer and Qualification Requirements section to earn a reward.
Services are subject to the applicable Conxxus Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Billing Policy all found at www.conxxus.com/legal. These Promotion Terms govern the referral offer; participation does not create a minimum service commitment. Customers may cancel Services at any time. Conxxus may terminate Services at any time, for any reason or no reason, subject to applicable law and the applicable Terms of Service.
Referrers may receive a personal login link to a Referral Rock dashboard showing their referrals and reward status. Conxxus may view the dashboard to administer the Promotion. Referral Rock hosts the dashboard and may access its data to provide platform, support, and troubleshooting services. Keep your login link confidential.
Referred Friends must use the Referrer’s unique referral link to access the Conxxus signup form and submit their service order.
Reward Administration and Verification
The reward amount and eligibility requirements applicable to a referral are those disclosed when the Referred Friend submits the qualifying service order through the referral link. Different referrals may qualify for different offers if the Promotion changes.
Conxxus is responsible for issuing qualifying rewards. Participants are responsible for any taxes applicable to their rewards. Conxxus may request tax forms or other information and make required reporting or withholding in accordance with applicable law. Conxxus may delay issuance until required information is provided.
To earn a reward, Participants must satisfy these Promotion Terms and any additional offer requirements clearly disclosed before the Referred Friend submits the service order. Conxxus may verify eligibility and request information reasonably needed to validate a referral.
Conxxus may refuse to process a referral or reward, or refuse access to the referral platform, if Conxxus determines in its sole discretion that the activity is fraudulent, suspicious, violates these Promotion Terms, or creates potential liability for Conxxus, its affiliates, or their officers, directors, employees, or agents. Self-referrals, fabricated accounts, and attempts to manipulate the Promotion are prohibited.
Ending the Promotion or closing a dashboard may prevent further use of the platform. It does not, by itself, forfeit a legitimately earned reward. Conxxus may withhold or revoke rewards obtained through fraud or violations of these Promotion Terms, subject to applicable law. Visa e-gift cards are subject to the issuer’s redemption terms and any disclosed expiration dates or fees.
Participant Responsibilities
You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to agree to these Promotion Terms.
Referral emails and private messages must be personal communications appropriate for friends, colleagues, and family members. You represent that you have the recipient’s prior consent to receive them. When recommending Services, clearly disclose that you may receive a reward if the recipient signs up. Employees must also disclose their relationship with Conxxus when it would not otherwise be apparent.
Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of a referral link in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” in Conxxus’ sole discretion is expressly prohibited and may be grounds for immediate termination of your dashboard and deactivation of the referral link.
Conxxus prohibits spam and has no obligation to monitor the content provided by Users; however, Conxxus may choose to do so and block any email messages, remove any such content, or prohibit any use of the referral platform by a Participant.
Each Participant is responsible for the referral emails or private messages they send and must comply with applicable law, including anti-spam laws. The indemnity below applies to claims arising from a Participant’s unlawful referral communications.
Suspension and Termination
Conxxus may suspend or terminate your participation or access to the referral platform at any time, for any reason or no reason, subject to applicable law, including an actual or suspected violation of these Promotion Terms. After suspension or termination, you may lose access to the platform or dashboard. Reward eligibility and any legitimately earned rewards will be handled as described above.
Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conxxus, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, proceedings, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your breach of these Promotion Terms, violation of applicable law, or actions in connection with referrals, rewards, or the referral platform. Nothing in these Promotion Terms waives a right or excludes a duty or liability that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded.
Privacy
Conxxus uses information submitted through the Promotion and referral dashboard to administer referrals, verify eligibility, communicate with Participants, and issue rewards, as described in the Conxxus Privacy Policy www.conxxus.com/legal/privacypolicy. Referral Rock and any reward-delivery provider may process information to support these activities.
Offer and Qualification Requirements
For each qualifying referral, the Referrer and the Referred Friend will each receive one $250 Visa e-gift card. The Referred Friend must sign up for Conxxus fiber internet service using the Referrer’s unique Referral Rock link.
There is no limit to the number of qualifying referrals a Referrer may make. Each Referred Friend must be a new Conxxus customer. This Promotion cannot be combined with other promotions.
Each $250 Visa e-gift card will be sent by email to the recipient’s email address provided during the initial signup process through Referral Rock. Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information.
The Referred Friend must use the Referrer’s unique Referral Rock link and enter the Referrer’s name (the current Conxxus customer) in the “How did you hear about Conxxus?” field when submitting the signup form. The signup process must be completed in its entirety through Referral Rock. Referral credit cannot be applied retroactively or honored outside Referral Rock. Conxxus will verify each referral. Rewards are earned only after both the Referrer and the Referred Friend have installed Conxxus fiber service, their accounts are in good standing, and each has paid the first invoice following any promotional period. Referred friend must not have been a past customer of Conxxus. Cancellation before these requirements are satisfied prevents qualification. Cancellation after a reward is legitimately earned does not by itself forfeit the reward.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Participants release Conxxus and its affiliates, employees, officers, and agents from liability for damages, losses, or injuries arising from participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of a reward. This release does not waive any right or exclude any duty or liability that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded.
